Common Area Improvements
- Garden Lighting Replacement (60 lights in total)
The harsh Tenerife climate has taken a toll on our current garden lights, and many have reached the end of their useful life. We plan to replace all 60 lights with high-quality, durable fixtures that can withstand moisture and aging. This is not just about aesthetics—safe, well-lit paths are essential for the well-being of our community. We aim to complete this project in 2025. - Central Walkway (Cafeteria to Gonpa)
To improve safety and accessibility, we need to repave the central walkway from the Cafeteria to the Gonpa. The current paving has worn down over time, and new paving will provide a safer and smoother path for all. - Pathway Between Meriger House and Tségyalgar House
Currently, this path is unpaved, and during rainy weather, it becomes muddy and difficult to navigate. Paving this section is essential for safety and ease of movement. - Main Fence Renovation
The materials required for this project are affordable, but the work will be labor-intensive. We need to replace parts of the main fence and carry out bamboo work and painting. This project will take several weeks. - Sewage Pipe Repair
There are cracks in the sewage pipe shaft that need urgent repair to prevent further damage. Ensuring the proper functioning of our plumbing systems is vital for the health and comfort of the entire community.
House-Related Maintenance
- Exterior Wall Repair
The outer walls of several houses are in need of repair. Cracks and wear have compromised the integrity of the structures, and addressing these issues will help prevent further damage. - Concrete Staircase Repair (House 1)
The external staircase from the first to the second floor in House 1 is showing signs of deterioration. - Pergola Repair
The pergola in our community space has sustained wear and tear over the years. Repairing it will restore a much-needed terrace area for relaxation and gatherings. - Terrace Wall Plaster Repair
Several of the terrace walls require plaster repairs to prevent further damage and maintain the overall integrity of the buildings. - Humidity Control (House 9)
House 9 is currently facing a serious humidity issue. Effective humidity control measures are urgently needed to prevent further damage to the property and ensure a safe living environment. - Solar Panel Replacement with Boiler
Our current solar panel system is malfunctioning and inefficient, resulting in excessive water and electricity usage. We plan to remove the solar panels and replace them with a regular boiler to improve energy efficiency and reduce waste.
