In this workshop, we will explore synthesis, sound design, music production, and acousmatic music. Together, we will deepen our understanding of sound and explore how various tools can be used to sculpt with sound, both to express our artistic vision and to communicate and reflect our experiences beyond words. We will also take the opportunity to listen to various composers and artists who have been significant in the development of modern sound design and music.
To participate, you will need a recording device (such as a mobile phone or Zoom recorder), a pair of headphones and a laptop that has the following software installed (all have free versions):
