We all have various experiences with teamwork. Some are difficult, connected with big energetic costs, sometimes filled with conflicts. Others can be very uplifting, satisfying, bringing about personal growth and development of relationships. It is worth being aware of how we can positively influence all the processes in which we are involved. Harmonious communication, focused on both the goals we want to achieve and the people involved in our activities, is one of the key elements to be developed. Assertiveness – a quality of being self-assured and confident without an aggressive attitude to defend a right point of view or a relevant statement – plays a very supportive role here.
Another important point of attention is to be aware of how to construct messages, which words to use, which words to avoid to prevent misunderstandings and potential conflicts. One of the tools is constructive feedback – a skill that everyone can develop to create harmonious relationships.
During the workshop we will discover:
• How does assertiveness support building harmonious relations and communications
• What are the key areas to develop assertiveness among collaborators
• How to build trust being open and honest
• What are the challenges in constructive feedback
• How to build conversation based on “feedback to the future”
• How to deal with emotions in feedback
The workshop is open to everybody who wants to improve soft skills in communication.
