Contemplation in Movement with the Integration of Voice and Live Music
From December 11 to 20, 2026, our global community will gather at Dzamling Gar for nine days entirely dedicated to the Vajra Dance, the joy of meeting, and intense collective practice. This is a special opportunity to experience a serene atmosphere of collaboration, harmony, and community life!
Daily Structure & Practices
The schedule will alternate between active movement on the Mandala and deep sitting contemplation. We will practice intensely:
- The Dance of the Song of the Vajra
- The Dance of the Six Spaces
- The Dance of the Three Vajras
- The Dance of Space of the Song of the Vajra
Mandala Availability
The Mandalas will remain active and open throughout the day to allow for a continuous flow of practice:
- Coordinated Sessions: Specific times during the day will be guided or coordinated to practice together and harmonize our movements.
- Open Practice: Dedicated time slots where the Mandalas are freely available for anyone wishing to practice independently or in small groups.
- Sitting Practice: Sitting sessions will alternate with the dance sessions to integrate our practice.
Special Events: Live Music
During the gathering, we will host special live music sessions. We will have the wonderful opportunity to dance on the Mandala accompanied by live musicians from our community, blending sound, movement, and presence into a unique experience.
Spirit of the Gathering
This event is more than a practice retreat; it is an opportunity for living together. Every participant is invited to contribute to the atmosphere with a spirit of collaboration, mutual respect, and shared joy, supporting one another in managing the daily activities and communal spaces.
Useful Information
What to bring: Your dance costume (if you have one), comfortable clothing, and socks for the Mandala.
(Note: The detailed daily schedule with exact times for individual thuns, coordinated sessions, and live music will be posted on-site and shared at the beginning of the gathering).
We look forward to welcoming you to celebrate the Vajra Dance together!
