Kay Konrad, the artist: “It was around 1985 when I lived in La Gomera in a cave. Someone handed me the book “The Ways of Universal Responsibility” by the Dalai Lama, and a small drawing of White Tara touched my heart. Since then Tara is my beautiful guide and protector. I painted various images of her – always being deeply grateful and happy to have this beautiful work to do.
Same year, in 1985, I took refuge in the Dharma and met Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche for the first time.”
