An elegant Japanese offering set used by Chögyal Namkhai Norbu during Ganapuja at Kyoto retreat in 2015.
Donated by the Dzogchen Community Japan.
The wine glass is Kutani ware – Japanese craft with a history of over 350 years. The shape of the glass is extremely rare for Kutani ware.
The plate is Japanese lacquer, or urushi – an essential part of Japanese culture. The plate is extremely light and is made of wood that is painted with natural urushi lacquer, one of the strongest materials derived from nature.
